Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – The new AT20-600 series of Motorized Vertical Lift Stages from Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) features a vertical lift of 600 mm.  The AT20-600-01 (pictured) is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor features a repeatability of 5 microns, positional accuracy of 20 microns and has a knob on the motor for manual adjustment. The AT20-600-02 is driven by a Brushless DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder and the AT20-600-03 is driven by a DC Servo Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder.  Each of the Servo Motor options, the -02 and -03 versions, offer higher travel speeds, increased positional accuracy, and repeatability.  The AT20-600-04 is driven by a Two-Phase Stepper Motor with a Quadrature Incremental Encoder mounted on the motor for position verification.

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – A new, series of Dual-axis Yaw-and-Pitch Stages have been introduced by OES (Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc.). This new series of high precision Yaw-and-Pitch stages are ideal for precise measurements of compound curves and angles of an object during inspection or reverse engineering, laser machining and drilling, scanning, tracking, mirror positioning, and for use with coordinate measuring machines and autocollimators.

Van Nuys, CA – — Motion Control Components – The AT20-100 Motorized Vertical Lift Stage from Optimal Engineering Systems, Inc. (OES) is a very stable, high precision, high load vertical lift stage that can be easily integrated into almost any application. The large 120 mm x 180 mm (4.72 in. x 7.08 in.) drilled and tapped platform has a vertical travel of 100 mm (3.93 in.) and features: 3.315 µ (non- Micro-Step) resolution, 5 µ repeatability, and 15 µ positional accuracy. The precision ground lead screw, precision linear bearings, and the rigid box construction of the moving component of the elevator stage assures smooth, flat (parallel to mounting surface) vertical motion.

Motion Control – Low Cost, High Precision XYθ Alignment Stages from OES!

OES Logo

Van Nuys, CA – Optimal Engineering Systems’ (OES) low profile, XYθ (theta) stages are designed for high precision alignment applications. These stages move in an XY-plane and rotate around the center of the XY-plane. The terms alignment table, or XY-rotation stage are often used interchangeably with XYθ, or XY-theta stage. Available in 12 models, in two precision grades, these stages have linear travels from +/- 2 mm by +/- 2 mm (+/- 0.078 in by +/- 0.078 in) up to +/- 30 mm by +/- 30 mm (+/-1.181 in by +/- 1.181 in). Additionally, XYθ (theta) stages can rotate around the center of the XY plane up to +/- 6O. Four models of the XYθ (theta) stages have solid tables that are sized from 100 mm by 100 mm (3.937 in by 3.937 in) to 200 mm by 200 mm (7.874 in by 7.874 in), and eight stages, from 250 mm x 250 mm (9.843 in by 9.843 in) to 1500 mm by 1500 mm (59.055 in by 59.055 in), are hollow core (open frame) stages.

Available in Normal and Precision grades, these XYθ (theta) stages have preloaded cross roller bearings and typical Normal Repeated Positioning Accuracy is from +/- 1.75 µm to +/- 2.5 µm, and typical Precision Repeated Positioning Accuracy is from +/- 0.7 µm to +/- 1.0 µm.

Parallelism of these XYθ (theta) Stages is as low as 30 µm, and the larger stages can handle dynamic loads to 600 kg (1323 lbs). The stages’ surfaces are treated to ensure durability and they are compatible with OES’ line of Motion Controllers. XYθ (theta) Stages can be ordered with linear encoders for closed loop operation, customized to meet specific requirements, and complete ready to run alignment systems.

Typical applications include: Panel Lamination Machinery, panel Film Laminating Machines, print Screen and 3D printing, CNC equipment, angular glass cutting & grinding equipment, wafer alignment equipment, exposure equipment, and semi-conductor equipment.

OES Manual XYZ & Theta Stage

OES Logo

Van Nuys, CA – Motion Control – Optimal Engineering Systems’ (OES) manual XYZ and θ (theta) stages are designed for high precision alignment applications. Available in three standard models, these stacked, crossed roller stages move in XY and Z linear axes, and have a θ (theta) or rotary top stage. Three standard models (MXYZAR38-A, MXYZAR60-A, MXYZAR85-A) have X and Y axis linear travels from the center line of +/- 6.5 mm (+/- 0.256 in.), +/- 6.5 mm (+/- 0.256 in.), and +/- 12.5 mm (0.429 in.), and a Z axis travel of +/- 3 mm (+/-0.118), +/- 5 mm (+/- 0.197 in), and +/- 5 mm (+/- 0.197 in). Applications for these high precision manual stages include: Gauging and gauging instrumentation, fine tuning of optical instruments, machine tools, micro assembly, micro machining, and alignment operations when parallelism, flatness, and accuracy are required.

These compact, black anodized stages measure just 96.25 mm (3.789 in.) wide, 88.75 mm (3.494 in.) deep, by 100 mm (3.957 in.) high (MXYZAR38-A), 117.5 mm (4.626 in.) wide, 109 mm (4.291 in.) deep, by 119.5 mm (4.705 in.) high (MXYZAR60-A), and 160.5 mm (6.319 in.) wide, 150 mm (5.906 in.) deep, by 120 mm (4.724 in.) high (MXYZAR85-A), and rotary table diameters are 38 mm (1.496 in.), 60 mm (2.362 in.), and 85 mm (3.346 in.), and they have load capacities of 0.9 kg (1.98 lb), 3 kg (6.61 lb), and 2.5 kg (5.51 lb) respectively. Additionally, XYZ and θ (theta) manual stages can be ordered with linear encoders and digital readouts, or customized to meet specific requirements.
