Vaughan, Ontario, Canada — Motion Control  — Applied Motion Products New PH Series Mini Planetary Gearmotors are used with small step motors in NEMA 8, 11, and 14 frame sizes.  TThese gearmotors are used in applications where space is critical.  Small motors usually don’t produce enough torque for demanding applications.  Mini Planetary Gearmotors are an ideal solution.  They offer an increase in torque, and better inertia matching without breaking the budget.

Motion Control – Linear Servo Controller Amplifier to Control Voice Coil Motors

motion control servo amplifier

Sunnyvale, CA,   —  Motion Control – The SCA814 Linear Servo Controller was specifically designed to control single phase, non-commutated devices like voice coil motors.  like it’s field proven predecessor the SCA754 is a high performance single axis DC motor controller and amplifier system.  It is comprised of a highly integrated single PC board level product with a cohesive interface.  This card provides current amplification and analog servo control interfaces.  The single-phase characteristic of the current amplifier makes it particularly well suited for DC motors such as galvanometers and voice coils.  It was specifically developed for control of motor applications requiring both high temporal and spatial servo precision, such as machine vision, inspection, scientific imaging, medical imaging and other business applications.  This amplifier interfaces directly to many of the Equipment Solution motor/stage solutions.
Besides galvanometers the SCA814 is directly compatible with all the ESI linear voice coil stages and the optical scanners.  A bipolar linear or switching regulated power supply is required by the SCA814 amplifier.  Typically better performance can be achieved when using a linear power supply.  Equipment Solutions has several high-current supplies for this purpose including the SPS15 ±15V DC Switching Power Supply .

Wide, High Accuracy, Low Cost Linear Motion Systems Resist – Roll, Pitch, and Yaw!

Linear Motion Control - SAIBO Wide Profile Linear Motion Control System!

LM76

Longmeadow, MA – Linear Motion Control –The low cost, wide, stable platforms of the SAIBO SB-LGC Linear Motion Systems are available exclusively from LM76 in two sizes to meet load requirements up to 6000 N. (1349 lbs).  These wide, low profile linear motion systems feature: Low noise, smooth travel, high speed to 10 m/s (120 ft/s), high acceleration to 50 m/s (150 ft/s), low weight, high linear accuracy, sealed radial low friction bearings, low cost, and because of their wide profile they have high moment (Roll, Pitch, and Yaw) load capacities. Additionally they are easy to install, in any orientation, into new and existing applications.  SB-LGC maintenance free linear motion systems have sealed for life rollers, RC60 hardened shafts, and are available in lengths to 6000 mm (263 in.)

SAIBO SB-LGC Linear Motion Platform and Rail System have an adjustable preload system to control the required level of precision needed for most applications. Capable of loads to 6000 N (1349 lbs), the very stable LGC platforms have four drilled and tapped holes for mounting tooling, cameras, test equipment, etc.  For use in: Robotics, assembly, photography, pick-and-place, sorting, packaging, manufacturing, sampling, laser cutting, wafer handling, and other precision applications.

LM76, the exclusive US distributor of SAIBO linear motion components, manufacturers a broad variety of FDA & USDA compliant bearings and shafting, in inch sizes of .25 inches to 1.5 inches, and a FDA & USDA compliant profile rail and slide system that can easily be integrated into new and existing applications.  The bearing options include: Self-lubricating FDA & USDA compliant Teflon® composite bearings in a 304 stainless steel shell, and lower cost bearings with a ceramic coated shell and FDA & USDA compliant liner.  Bearings are available in closed and open configurations, and are drop-in replacements for all inch sized linear ball bearings.

NEW, THREE-PHASE LINEAR AMPLIFIER FOR BRUSHLESS SERVOS, ELIMINATES COGGING & TORQUE RIPPLE!

MOTION MONTROL - BRUSHLESS SERVO LINEAR AMPLIFIER, ELIMINATES COGGING & TORQUE RIPPLE!

San Luis Obispo, CA – The TA320 linear three-phase servo motion control amplifier from Trust Automation, Inc. allows motion system designers to easily integrate the latest developments in sinusoidal motor control and its benefits of zero cogging, no torque ripple, and smooth motion, into applications such as, high resolution inspection systems or metrology instruments. Also, its very low electrical noise makes it ideal for integration in or near systems that have noise sensitive circuitry, such as transducers and sensors, and medical applications. Additionally, the audible noise problems associated with PWM amplifiers are eliminated.

This versatile and powerful 700 W continuous (1400W peak) linear amplifier can be configured to accept two sinusoidal commutations separated by 120 degrees with the third phase generated by the amplifier. The TA320 amplifier can be set up to operate in trapezoidal mode using hall sensor feedback or as one, two, or three single phase amplifiers. The amplifier also features DTS control which allows the transconductance (Amps/input Volts) to be changed on-the-fly. An additional benefit is that high resolution control can be maintained without having to sacrifice power capability.

Integral forced air cooling, a housing designed to protect against operator injury, easily made connections using ribbon connectors, SMB coaxial connectors, and pluggable-terminal connectors, demonstrate Trust Automation’s commitment to operator safety and ease of integration.

Trust Automation’s motion control products include: Stand-alone motion and machine controllers, SynqNet I/O and SynqNet Drives, Brushed and Brushless Rotary Motors, Interconnect Products and Automation Engineering consulting covering Mechanical, Electrical, Software and System aspects of machine design.
