 Innovative Automation – Van Nuys, CA – Newly released from Moticont, the miniature GVCM-019-022-02 Linear Voice Coil Servo Motor, is just three-fourths of an inch (19.0 mm) in diameter and features a half inch (12.7 mm) stroke. This very small linear actuator, also referred to as an electric cylinder, features 8.4 ounces (2.3 N) of continuous force and 26.6 ounces (7.4 N) of peak force at a 10 percent duty cycle. This non-commutated brushless servo motor features: High reliability, high speed, high acceleration/deceleration, and repeatability when used in a servo loop, and zero cogging.

The LVCM-019-048-02 Linear Voice Coil Motor is a true servo motor featuring zero cogging, high accuracy, and high repeatability when operated in a closed position loop. Voice Coil Motors (also referred to as actuators) are clean, quiet, efficient, brushless high speed linear servo motors. This small LVCM-019-048-02 diameter actuator has a 1.500 in (38.1 mm) stroke length and a high-force-to-size ratio of 7.4 oz (2.1 N) and a peak force of 23.5 oz. (6.5 N) at 10% duty cycle.

Besides galvanometers the SCA814 is directly compatible with all the ESI linear voice coil stages and the optical scanners.  A bipolar linear or switching regulated power supply is required by the SCA814 amplifier.  Typically better performance can be achieved when using a linear power supply.  Equipment Solutions has several high-current supplies for this purpose including the SPS15 ±15V DC Switching Power Supply .
