Van Nuys, CA — Motion Control – Moticont has added another non-commutated linear actuator to its DDLM series of low cost actuators.

The 0.125 in. (3.2 mm) diameter shaft has an internal thread on each end, a total of length of 4.960 in (126.0 mm), and extends 1.585 in. (40.3 mm) past the mounting end of the actuator. The shaft extends thru the 3/8-32 UNF x 0.250 (6.4 mm) long threaded studs at each end of the housing which can be used for mounting the DDL-019-070-01 linear actuator. Long life plain linear bearings support the internal shaft at both end of the actuator.

The new LVCM-051-051-06 Linear Voice Coil Motor has been designed with a larger radial air gap to tolerate the tilting and misalignment that can be experienced when clamping out of parallel objects or moving off-center loads. This compact linear motor is 2.000 in (50.8 mm) in dia. with a 2.00 in. (50.8 mm) long housing and at mid stroke is just 2.88 in. (73.0 mm). 
Peak force is 9.5 lb (42.2N) at a 10% duty cycle and continuous force is 3.0 lb (13.3 N). Features of this low inertia, high acceleration / deceleration, clean, efficient, zero cogging, brushless voice coil servo motor makes it ideal for: Sorting, packaging, sampling, work holding and clamping, laser machining and drilling, wafer handling, and medical and pharmaceutical applications.

This high precision miniature size rotary stage is just 35 mm (1.378 in.) high and the footprint including the standard 2-phase 1.8 degree stepper motor is only 58 mm (2.283 in) by 100.5 mm (3.957 in ). The table has a precision pattern of 6 8-M2x4L threaded mounting holes in the rotary table for fixtures or tooling, and an 8 mm (0.315 in) diameter through hole. Countersunk holes in the base allow for easy unobstructed integration into new and existing applications. The diameter of the AR39-AH Miniature Rotary Table is 39 mm (1.535 in.) and range of travel is a full 360 degrees of continuous rotation.
