Motion Control – Pull Type Tubular Solenoids
Motion Control – Van Nuys, CA – A series of 1.250 in. diameter tubular solenoids has been released by Magnetic Sensor Systems (MSS). Ideal for strokes of up to 1.00 inch, the S-20-125 series of Pull Type Tubular Solenoids feature 18 different solenoids with 23 AWG to 40 AWG (American Wire Gauge) windings. This broad range of solenoids allows the user to select the best solenoid for an application based on the force, stroke length, voltage, and duty cycle requirements. If needed, MSS solenoids with higher temperature class coil and lead wire insulation can be specified.
The S-20-125 solenoids feature a 1.25 in. diameter x 2.00 in. long housing and a 3/4-18 mounting thread. The noncaptive plunger, made of low residual magnetic steel for quick release, has a diameter of 0.437 in. with a clevis end for load attachment. A low friction brass guide and PTFE coating on the plunger assures exceptionally long life.
Low cost, clean, and highly efficient these precision tubular solenoids can be operated at duty cycles (voltage dependent) up to 100%, and are the ideal choice for: Vending machines, medical dispensing, mixing, valve control, farm machinery, disconnects, transmission shifting, fire suppression systems, cabinet locks, door controls, and sorting equipment.
